The PNC Easy Lock feature helps to protect against fraudulent activities on your account in case your card gets lost or stolen. By locking the card, you keep it from being used for unauthorized transactions like purchases, cash advances, or withdrawals. There is also zero fraud liability protection where you're not held responsible for fraudulent charges on your account.

The PNC points® Visa® Credit Card has a few drawbacks like the foreign transaction fee of 3% of the amount in US Dollars, which leads to extra costs for persons who frequently patronize foreign merchants. The rewards rate isn’t as generous as it seems because the point value isn’t worth much. A balance of 50,000 points from this card will give you $100 cash, but contemporary cards will redeem up to $500 for the same number of points. Also, late and returned payments attract penalty charges up to 38$.

This card is suitable mainly for PNC customers looking for a product that offers multiple bonuses and rewards.

Clients have automatic enrollments into the PNC points program after opening their accounts and these points are redeemable within forty-eight months of entering the account.

There are no annual fees required to continue using the card, which is an added plus because most credit cards charge yearly fees to recoup costs spent on rewards and bonuses.

If your card ever gets lost or stolen, you can use the easy lock feature to protect against unauthorized activities including purchases, cash advances, and withdrawals. Once the card is found or replaced, you can easily unlock the account.

There is a 0% introductory APR for the first twelve billing cycles for purchases and balance transfer, then 11.99% to 21.99%, based on creditworthiness. This feature may be helpful for clients who want to make significant purchases with enough time to pay back the debt.

You earn 4 bonus points for every $1 on purchases, and 25%, 50%, and 75% bonus on all base points when you maintain a performance checking account or a virtual wallet performance spending or checking account.

Clients PNC points can be redeemed for thousands of gift cards from various vendors, apple store products, or to book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services.

Contactless payment is a recent IT development that uses short-range NFC (near field communication) technology to securely complete payments between a contactless card and a contactless-enabled checkout terminal.

All you have to do is tap your card at a contactless-enabled terminal and the payment is sent for authorization. Your PNC points® Visa® Credit Card has this feature.

This card has 0$ fraud liability protection where users aren’t held accountable for unauthorized charges on their accounts. This feature is to protect the card owner against fraud; however, the bank requires the client to use reasonable care to protect the card against loss or theft.

Let’s take a look at the drawbacks of this credit card and see if it’s the right one for your wallet or not.

The Citi Diamond Preferred Card is not the best card to use on international purchases. The 3% transaction fees may not seem expensive, but if you make enough foreign transactions, the numbers add up.

Card owners that make late payments and returned payments are charged to pay penalty fees up to 38$. This fee is significantly high compared to contemporary products.

Credit Card Reviews Methodology

In order to determine the best possible credit cards, we look at things like fees, interest rates and rewards. We do this with companies that are associated with us as partners as well as other offerings. From there, we make a decision about what the best card is related to different categories and needs. We focus on interest rate cost & fees, especially the cost of carrying a balance, rewards – cards accumulate rewards in different currencies—points, miles, cash back—and their values vary widely usability – cards that accept a wide range of credit profiles and offer simple solutions for things like checking your credit score or contacting. We also consider customer reviews.

We look at cards related to good or excellent credit ratings that will then provide a range of different benefits and improvements for someone who has these scores. We also look at low fees when it comes to those who have lower credit scores.
